Dalip Singh – The Great Khali


image Dalip Singh popularly known as The Great Khali of WWE. Dalip Singh was born on August 27th, 1972 and hail from the Dhirana village of Himachal Pradesh (India). He is currently settled in Atlanta, Georgia. The Great Khali is a professional Indian Wrestler and has been Mr India for two years, 1995 and 1996. He was a police officer in Punjab before he become a professional wresteler. He has also worked in Movies, so he can also be called as an actor. He starred in “The Longest Yard” and “Get Smart”.

Great Khali has a height of 7feet 3 inches and weight of 420 pounds.

According to the Great Khali’s Fan site, The Great Khali is a big man, at Seven Feet tree inches, managing your body is not an easy enough task. He also has a huge weight of about 400 pounds, which also isn’t easy to manage. Therefore keeping himself Healthy is one of the things The Great Khali has to take a lot of care about.

image According to his another Fan’s site, he is a very kind hearted person, married to Harminder Kaur and has no children.Dalip Singh is a Rajput Hindu by religion, contradicting to the popular belief of him being a Sikh. Dalip Singh’s knowledge of English has always been thought about people as something non-existent, but this is not true. When Dalip Singh first came to the USA however he didn’t knew English, but right now he does speak little English from time to time and can understand it very well. On a show of WWE RAW! as The Great Khali, he was also shown speaking to Jonathan Coachman in English when he said "I want some competition".

As far as his job is concerned, Dalip Singh is currently working for the WWE in USA, but he is not a USA resident, he is the resident of India, and in India he currently has a job as a Sub-Inspector in Punjab Police and is appointed at Jalandhar. He was once sacked from the job accidentally but this was reversed in a matter of a few hours.
