IndianCitizens.org is a members driven portal. The pages submitted are by the registered members of IndianCitizens.Org. Any individuals can join this portal as a member and post articles related to the topics of this portal. In return we share the revenue generated by the Google Adsense advertisement displayed on the pages.
What is Google Adsense ?
Google Adsense is an advertising program from Google the search engine giant.
How can I Join Google Adsense ?
You can sign-up for a Google adsense account for free. Once you join, you will get an approval mail from Google Adsense with the login information to your control panel.
How is the revenue shared ?
We share 50% of the revenue with the author of the page. Suppose you submit a page and its approved and published by our editors, then the 50% of the ads shown on that page, which is served by Google adsense will be using your adsense pub ID. You need to update your pub ID into your profile. You can do this by logging into your account of IndianCitizens.org
How long will I get the revenue share ?
The revenue sharing will be for 1 year from the date of publishing your article
How do I check my earnings?
You can check your earnings by visiting your adsense account control panel
Can I click on my ads?
Clicking on your ads will terminate your account and its against the Terms of service of Google Adsense program. You should go through the Google Adsense program before you update your pub ID, so that you are aware of the do’s and dont’s of Google Adsense program.
Can I invite my friends to view my articles?
Yes you can invite your friends to view your articles, but never tell them to click on the ads on your page. Google has a very good click fraud detecting system and you will surely lose your earnings and get your Google Adsense account banned.
Is IndianCitizens.Org affiliate to Google Adsense?
No, IndianCitizens.Org is no way affiliate to Google Adsense. Google Adsense is a program from Google Inc and IndianCitizens.org is a portal belonging to Kishore Asokan.
Does IndianCitizens.Org take any responsibility for the payment from Google Adsense?
No, Google Adsense payments are done by Google and we do not have any responsibility in that.
